PICE Set to Recognize the Nation’s Most Outstanding Student Chapters in the 2025 MOSCA
The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) is set to honor exemplary student organizations across the country through the 2025 Most Outstanding Student Chapter Award (MOSCA), happening on November 24–25, 2025, at the Quezon City Meeting, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) Center. The MOSCA is one of PICE’s most anticipated annual recognitions, highlighting the achievements of student chapters that have demonstrated excellence in leadership, innovation, community service, and academic engagement. This prestigious award aims to inspire student engineers to embody the core values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in the practice of civil engineering.

Evaluation Criteria
Student chapters will be assessed based on four major criteria as outlined in the official MOSCA 2025 guidelines:
Programs Supporting the Mother Chapter and National Agenda (40%)
– Active participation in PICE national events such as the National Students’ Summit and National Students’ Conference,
– Collaboration with Mother Chapters, and
– Implementation of research and innovation initiatives that promote engineering advancement.Membership Growth (20%)
– Increased student membership and compliance in remitting dues to the National Office.Student Chapter Sustainability and Management (20%)
– Consistency in governance through general assemblies, management meetings, and adoption of innovative organizational systems.Student Chapter Activities (20%)
– Initiatives focused on community service, professional development, and continuous learning, including seminars, competitions, and outreach programs.
