The release of the September 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination results highlights remarkable academic achievements across higher education institutions in the Philippines. Within the category of schools with 15 to 49 first-time examinees, the data reveals key insights into regional institutional strength, consistency in small-cohort performance, and the growing competitiveness of state universities and colleges (SUCs).

A. Perfect Passing Rates in Moderate Cohorts
Achieving a 100% passing rate in professional licensure exams requires both rigorous academic screening and focused board preparation. Three institutions successfully maintained a zero-fail rate among first-time examinees:
Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao demonstrated high output consistency, leading the top tier with 26 out of 26 passers.
Sorsogon State University and Cagayan de Oro College both maintained flawless performances with 17 out of 17 passers each.
B. Strong Representation of State Universities & Colleges (SUCs)
Public higher education institutions continue to be major powerhouses in engineering education. Out of the Top 20 schools listed:
Over half are State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) or local colleges (e.g., UP Diliman, MSU General Santos, WMSU, Sorsogon State University, Catanduanes State University, RTU, TUP Taguig, and Colegio de Muntinlupa).
UP Diliman demonstrated impressive quality control, ranking 5th overall with an 89.47% passing rate across 38 takers.
C. Strong Regional Presence Across Visayas and Mindanao
The results highlight a wide geographical distribution of top-performing civil engineering programs:
Mindanao showed outstanding strength through Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Cagayan de Oro College, MSU General Santos, WMSU Zamboanga, Ateneo de Davao, and Notre Dame of Marbel.
Visayas and Island Provinces maintained strong standing through Bohol Island State University, Sorsogon State University, Catanduanes State University, and Romblon State University.
Congratulations to all the new Civil Engineers, academic mentors, and university administration teams for their dedication and performance in the September 2026 licensure exam!
