This period was not free of struggles. One of the hardest was of a financial nature, particularly because his older sister had cancer. During this period, he managed to find a means of supporting himself through crocheting.
Combining education and financial stability was not an easy feat. Sometimes, he was under too much pressure. However, rather than giving in to this pressure, he decided to use this struggle as motivation.

Like many students, he also experienced setbacks. One of the most difficult moments was receiving a failing midterm grade of 4.0 in one subject, which caused anxiety and self-doubt. It was a moment that could have easily discouraged him.
